I’m the incurable romantic of the Priolo family. I see Priolo and Co. as being first and foremost in the business of romance. After all, jewelry—the symbol of connecting heart to heart—is one of the most romantic presents you can buy. It makes anyone feel beautiful, special and loved like nothing else can. And, believe me, choosing and offering the gift is empowering, too.

How do I know? Let me tell you a story. Several years ago in Houston Ballet’s performance of Cinderella, I got to dance the Prince with Julie as my Cinderella. The night of our performance the audience was clued into fact that I had proposed to Julie moments before the curtain went up. We danced our parts like never before—it was so beautiful, so magical.  As Julie and I took our final bows, the ring was brought out,  I dropped to one knee, and placed the diamond ring on her finger, in front of the sold-out audience. She was so surprised and the crowd went wild! I made the ring especially for her - it’s a constant reminder of that night which lives forever in our hearts.
